It all started when I was in middle school. My mother had this sweet Pentax SLR that she and my father used in college. Dad gave me a crash course and before I knew it, I was metering, shooting away and developing in my father's closet-turned-darkroom. It was love at first click.
It would be many more years than I care to admit before I would shoot for anyone other than me.
I'm a pretty simple gal. A princess, a wife, a mother, a singer, a designer, a photographer. I hate to clean and I loath putting away the clothes I have just folded. But I do love to get dirty with my three boys in the back yard and hide around the corner to scare my husband when he doesn't know I am there. My house is lived-in and my sneakers are muddy, but I see beauty all around me.
I love to capture that beauty.
